Pewsey Dental Practice

is a long-established family dental practice which has been offering high quality NHS, Denplan & Private dental care for over 40 years in the beautiful town of Pewsey, Wiltshire. We are committed to offering the best level of care, and our Denplan Excel Accreditation is a visible sign of our commitment. We are situated centrally, close to bus routes, free car parks and a railway station. The practice is located on the ground floor with parking for patients requiring wheelchair access to the rear of the premises.

Role:

Part-time Receptionist /Dental nurse required for two days per week will include working 8.30 AM till 5 PM. We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, committed, friendly individual to work well within our team and with excellent communication and telephone skills with an eligibility to work in UK.

Role and Responsibilities:



As a Receptionist your daily activities could include:

Performing high quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction and maximum contribution to practice efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability in line with GDC guidelines and practice policies. Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression. Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records. Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice and reception duties. Making patients aware of dental services and offers. Handling payments and accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.
As a Dental Nurse your daily activities could include:

Assisting the dentist with providing treatment to patients and ensuring that. Setting up and cleaning down the surgery. Ensure all instruments are sterilised, bagged, and ready for the sessions. Maintaining equipment and monitoring the stock levels. Making sure there are enough instruments and materials for every treatment.

Your skills and experience

:

Ability to keep calm, positive and organisation skills and able to work as a part of a great team demonstrating flexibility both within job role and ability to work extra days on ad hoc basis. Be able to work on own initiative. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not essential. Professional in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and progress further in a team is always desired. Previous administration or reception experience preferred but not essential. Efficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Preferred SOE/Exact experience but not mandatory. Strong communication and excellent telephone skills
