Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at the Dental Academy in Bangor. You will play a key role in ensuring our dental practice remains a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. This position is part-time, ideally suited for early risers looking for consistent weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect all clinical and non-clinical areas including reception, waiting rooms, surgeries, and toilets. Follow strict infection control and hygiene protocols. Refill consumables such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Dispose of waste, including clinical waste, in accordance with regulations. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors as required. Wipe down surfaces, door handles, and high-touch areas. Ensure cleaning records and checklists are completed accurately.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience preferred (healthcare or dental setting is a bonus). Knowledge of infection control procedures or willingness to undergo training. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Punctual, trustworthy, and reliable.

Desirable:

Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely. Basic understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). Understanding of confidentiality in a healthcare environment.
