Job Description

Ascot Dental Suite is a newly opened, modern and private dental practice. We are a highly knowledgeable, friendly and supportive team. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of dentistry and providing General and Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Dental Implants and Facial Aesthetics.

We are looking for a positive, commercially minded and driven Practice Manager, who thrives on motivating the team and achieving goals whilst managing the practice on a day to day basis.

They must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and be a real team player.

The Practice Managers' duties are as listed but are not limited to;

Ensuring the highest levels of care and patient experience

Maintaining the practice's reputation

The efficient day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring staff achieve primary responsibilities effectively and in a timely manner

Providing leadership and guidance for practice staff

Ensuring staff adhere to policy and procedure at all times

Monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation, providing leadership and direction to staff

Developing, implementing and embedding an effective practice training programme for all staff (clinical and administrative), liaising with external agencies when necessary

Manage compliance registers, ensuring DBS checks are conducted

Manage practice controllable costs in line with budgets

Activity management to meet Private targets

Review and update practice policies and procedures

Hold regular practice and clinician meetings

Assist with the recruitment of staff

Identifying and implementing practice improvement initiatives

Gather and analyse relevant activity data

Liaise with the principal and owners on all matters concerning finance, administration, pay and service conditions

Academic or trade qualifications


Dental background is preferred but not essential

Work experience and skills



At least 2 years of Dental Management experience preferred
The successful applicant will either have a solid background in clinical dentistry and some experience of the administration of dental practices or impressive management experience
Excellent leadership skills with extremely high standards
An excellent communicator with a passion for helping people and growing teams
CQC knowledge advantageous
Computer literate essential and SOE experience is advantageous but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 29,000.00-35,500.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday
