We are now looking for an
experienced and driven Dental Practice Manager
to join our leadership team and help elevate the practice to new levels of excellence.
Position Overview:
As Dental Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice. This is a pivotal leadership role that demands a strong background in NHS dental operations, team management, and regulatory compliance, especially CQC standards. You will ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the practice while maintaining a high standard of patient care and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all administrative and operational functions of the dental practice
Lead, mentor, and support front desk and clinical teams to foster a high-performance culture
Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations, including
CQC standards
,
GDPR
, and NHS requirements
Oversee NHS contract management, UDAs, and patient pathways
Drive excellence in patient experience, scheduling, billing, and reception procedures
Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and control costs
Liaise with suppliers, labs, and external partners
Maintain and enforce practice policies and standard operating procedures
Support marketing initiatives and patient engagement strategies
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement effective changes
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of experience in dental or healthcare practice management
Previous experience in an NHS dental practice is essential
Proven experience working as a CQC Manager
with responsibility for inspection readiness and compliance
Strong knowledge of
NHS contract management
, UDAs, and NHS patient pathways
In-depth understanding of
CQC regulations
, NHS regulatory frameworks, and clinical governance
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Competency in dental software systems (ideally
S.F.D.
)
Track record of managing budgets, performance metrics, and KPIs
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
