We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Practice Manager to lead two busy
mixed NHS and private dental practices
within the Puresmile Group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of running well-organised practices but is ready to step into a broader role with more influence, responsibility, and progression.
You'll oversee day-to-day performance across both sites, supporting clinicians and teams, improving systems, and ensuring strong delivery across NHS and private services. Working closely with senior leadership, the role offers clear development with a strong focus on people leadership, commercial awareness, and building practices that run efficiently without constant intervention.
Why this role is different:
This isn't just about keeping two practices running -- it's about shaping how they grow, developing future site leaders, and moving from hands-on management to true business leadership.
About the Role
If you are looking for your next leadership challenge, this could be the opportunity for you. You will:
Lead the delivery of high-quality patient care across a busy mixed NHS and private practice environment.
Develop, support, and hold teams accountable, building strong site-level leadership and a positive, high-performance culture.
Oversee core HR activity including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and appraisals.
Manage financial performance, UDA delivery, and key KPIs, using data to drive improvement and commercial outcomes.
Ensure full compliance with CQC, NHS, GDC, and Health & Safety standards, escalating risks appropriately.
Handle complaints and issues professionally, using learning to improve systems and patient experience.
Strengthen administrative and clinical systems by embedding clear SOPs and a solution-focused approach within teams.
Selection Criteria
Essential
Proven experience in a management or leadership role, ideally within dental, healthcare, or a regulated service environment.
Strong people leadership capability, including performance management, absence, and team development.

Demonstrated ambition to develop beyond operational management and grow commercial and strategic capability.
Organised, resilient, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Clear, confident communicator with the ability to lead conversations at all levels.
Desirable
Previous experience within dental or healthcare practice management.
Working knowledge of NHS dental contracts and UDA delivery.
Experience supporting CQC inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with dental practice management, HR, or payroll systems.
What We Offer
