An opportunity has arisen for a practice manager at our family dental practice in Wath upon Dearne. You would join a friendly, supporting, hardworking team of experienced dentists, dental care professionals, nurses, receptionists and a dedicated TCO.
The practice is continually improving and modernising, implementing a digital workflow to our dentistry.
The position:
33.25 hours a week - Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch (1/2 day Tuesday and Wednesday)
Good computer skills are essential

Previous dental experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other business settings

grow into a management role
while being supported every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a positive role model within the practice for all staff and patients by being solution focused and an exemplary team player.
Ability to motivate, lead and engage a team of 7-15 colleagues
Collaborating and influencing conversations to drive forward business priorities
Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines
Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
Confidence in using computer software's and communication via emails/telephone/Microsoft teams
Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice
Manage and support clinical and administrative teams
Ensure compliance with GDC, CQC, HTM 01-05, GDPR, and other regulations
Handle recruitment, HR, training, rotas, and appraisals
Maintain high standards in customer service and patient communication
Handle patient queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Liaise with suppliers and oversee stock control and equipment maintenance
Monitor spending, work within set budgets and support reporting with leadership
Implement and maintain efficient systems and processes
