Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the practice to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery
Handle human resources tasks such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, annual leave, sick leave, appraisals and employee relations to maintain a motivated workforce.
Implement and monitor practice policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead and support a team of dental professionals
Manage patient scheduling, billing, and communication
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (CQC, GDC, etc.)
Handle stock, supplier relationships, and facility maintenance
Coordinate marketing and patient engagement efforts
Requirements:
Proven experience as a dental practice manager (minimum 2 years preferred)
Knowledge of Invisalign processes is a strong advantage
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Friendly, professional manner with patients and staff
Familiarity with dental software (e.g. Dentally)
Understanding of CQC standards and compliance
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to uphold the reputation of the practice.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising teams within a healthcare or dental setting.
Strong financial management skills with an ability to analyse budgets and financial reports effectively.
Excellent human resources capabilities, including recruitment, training, and conflict resolution.
Familiarity with dental practices is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
