Job Description

We are a well-established Mixed Dental Practice in Arnos Grove. We are a small friendly team consisting of two Principals, Specialist Dentists, Practice Manager, a Head Nurse and Hygienists. We take pride in ensuring that our patients are given a great service. We are a progressive practice and always looking for improved ways to develop our services. We have a computerised practice management software enabling us to become more paperless. We offer the full range of NHS & Private dental treatments .

We are looking for a warm and friendly person to join our aspiring and supportive dental team. The position is for up to three weekdays 9 am to 5 pm, and one-two Saturdays 9 am -1 pm per month. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be computer literate. You will be the first person our patients meet so your role will involve welcoming patients, answering basic queries, booking appointments, handling payments, and general admin duties such as making referrals and sorting correspondences. You should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, ability to take initiative and have some reception/customer services experience. We would consider those candidates who are enthusiastic, committed, keen to learn and able to follow instructions. Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

We are located a minutes walk from the Underground Station and there is free parking available in the area.

Experience

1 year+ preferable
Requirements

Fluent in English with excellent and coherent telephone manner and someone who is able to ensure that our patients are given a great service in person and over the telephone Good numerical skills as you will be responsible for handling money and taking payments and completing the cash-up summary at end of day Computer literate Organised and ability to multitask Ability to work calmly under pressure Willingness to learn and develop new skills Team player and demonstrates initiative Good references are essential


Answering telephone calls, listening to voicemails , following up patient queries via telephone and emails Using the computer software to book appointments, performing recalls, sending reminder messages or calling patients Maintaining and answering emails Taking payments, handling money, producing daily cash up reports Registering patients Completing referrals, organising and filing correspondences, responding to correspondences, Assist in other duties that may be required
Position

Part- Time : up to 3 days per week 9 am to 5 pm and 1-2 Saturdays per month 9 am to 1 pm Pay dependent on experience

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
