We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal utilisation of the dentist's time.
Manage patient records accurately, including updating personal information and treatment history.
Handle incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance.
Process payments and maintain financial records in accordance with practice policies.
Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
Experience
Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Proficiency in using office software and dental management systems is advantageous.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
