We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our flourishing professional team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within our dental practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations to optimise the dentist's schedule.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, procedures, and packages we offer via Telephone Calls, WhatsApp and Email.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with GDPR.
Process payments and manage enquiries in a timely manner.
Coordinate with the team to ensure seamless communication regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
Qualifications
/ Desirable Experience
Previous office / administrative/ Reception experience is highly desirable but full training will be given.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
Proficient in using computer systems, Outlook , MS Office,
Warm and articulate telephone manner.
Knowledge of Dentally cloud based dental software (Desirable but not essential as training will be given)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. .
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
