Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations to ensure optimal patient flow.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to the role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
A compassionate approach towards patients and an understanding of their needs is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
