As our new receptionist, you will be committed to ensuring smooth operation throughout the patient journey and in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in an administrative or office role, be presentable, self-motivated and an excellent communicator. They will have a calm and professional approach and be able to engage with people from all walks of life.
You will be organised, able to multitask confidently under pressure and comfortable discussing treatment options, costs, and finance in a reassuring way.

What We Offer:
Position:
Part-Time (over 25 hours per week) with career progression opportunities
Schedule:
Monday 8.30am-7pm, Saturday 8.30am - 2pm, plus a additional 10hr shift on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their dental Journey.
Creating a welcoming environment for all patients.
Warmly greet patients upon arrival, schedule appointments.
Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and accurately updating contact information.
Proactively manage the diary to maintain full appointment schedules and minimise gaps.
Calculate and collect patient payments, apply for patient finance where applicable.
Keep a clean, organised, and professional front desk area.
Stay current with dental compliance, dental policies, and patient care protocols.
Contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for patients and team members.
Assisting The Practice Manager in additional administrative tasks
Proficient in creating engaging content for social media platforms
Work collaboratively with the dental team to promote high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 3 years of Experience in a Dental environment.
Ability to maintain a professional calm and friendly demeanour in all situations.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in English
Confident using social media to support practice marketing
