About Us

Reception responsibilities include:

Answer the telephones

Welcome all patients arriving at the practice

Ensure that the appointment system is efficient and accurate

Collect and record patient payments

Administration and finance

Ensure that patient records are completed correctly before filing and storing them in an efficient, tidy and secure manner

Encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts according to the practice policy

Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required

Send out patient recalls

Compile day sheets

Keep the office, reception area and waiting room clean and tidy

Deputise for the practice manager

Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPd

With experience you may be able to move into jobs like Team Manager, Team Leader or Dental Practice Manager.

Monday - 09.00 - 17:00

Tuesday - 09.00 - 19:00

Wednesday - 09.00 - 19:00

Thursday - 09.00 - 17:00

Friday - 09.00 - 17:00
