We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Reception experience is essential. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively to optimise patient flow.
Handle incoming calls, answer queries, and provide information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental practice or healthcare setting
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
Proficient in using office software and equipment; familiarity with dental practice management software is an advantage.
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour.
