As a Dental Receptionist with our Dental Practice, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Patient Reception and Communication:
Greet patients warmly and provide a friendly and professional first impression of the practice.
Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
Check in patients, verify their information and update their records as necessary.
Provide accurate and clear information to patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and insurance coverage.
Maintain confidentiality and handle patient information with care and sensitivity.
Administrative Support:
Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized reception area.
Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling to optimize the practice's efficiency.
Process patient registrations, insurance forms, and other administrative documents accurately.
Assist with billing and financial transactions, including collecting payments and internal payment processes
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth communication and coordination of patient care.
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Handle patient complaints or difficult situations in a calm and effective manner, seeking appropriate resolutions.
Anticipate and respond to patient needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the practice, making patients feel valued and cared for.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in SOE exact is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology and processes is a plus.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute as a team player.
