Turret Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic laboratory based in Sale, Manchester, known for producing high-quality orthodontic appliances and delivering excellent service to clinicians. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Dental Technician with experience in vacuum-formed appliances who is eager to receive full training in orthodontic wire work.

Role Overview

This role is perfect for a technician confident with vacuum-formed orthodontic appliances who wants to expand their skills into wire work. Full training will be provided by our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture a range of vacuum-formed orthodontic appliances, including:

Essix retainers Bleaching trays Sports mouthguards Night guards & splints
- Trim, polish, and finish appliances to a high standard

- Receive structured, hands-on training in orthodontic wire work

- Interpret prescriptions, dental models, and digital scans

- Maintain excellent attention to detail and quality control

- Work collaboratively with the team to meet workflow targets and deadlines

Requirements

- Experience producing vacuum-formed dental or orthodontic appliances

- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently

- Eagerness to learn orthodontic wire bending

- CAD/CAM experience is beneficial but not essential
