We are seeking a qualified and motivated Dental Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide preventive and restorative dental care, working closely with dentists, dental nurses and support staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Duties



Provide routine dental therapy services including fillings, fissure sealants, fluoride applications, and periodontal treatments. Carry out dental hygiene procedures and oral health education to promote preventive care. Work independently within the scope of practice, while collaborating with dentists on treatment plans. Deliver patient-centred care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail. Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with practice policies and regulatory standards. Uphold infection control and cross-infection protocols at all times. Participate in team meetings, audits, and continuing professional development activities.

Skills



Diploma or Degree in Dental Therapy (or equivalent qualification). Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and indemnity in place. Proficiency in SOE software. Strong knowledge of medical imaging. In-depth understanding of human anatomy to accurately evaluate and treat conditions. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Organised approach to managing multiple cases while maintaining meticulous records. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient-centred care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to patient care and professional development.

Desirable Attributes



Previous experience in a general dental practice setting. Confidence in delivering oral health education to patients of all ages. Flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Pay: From 37.00 per hour
