Job Description

Teaching Provide clinical teaching and supervision of undergraduate students who will be providing the following: The full scope of practice treatment for patients of all ages who appropriately access community dental service for advice or treatment. A full range of dental care for all groups in line with their experience and skill. Providing treatment where necessary as sole treatment or part of a planned course of treatment. Job Purpose Highly trained healthcare professional carrying preventive oral health education tasks and clinical treatments within the scope of a dental therapist To provide a dental hygiene and therapy service to patients To actively promote dental health within the Newcastle Hospitals Foundation Trust.

To teach the BSc students theory and practical skills. To mentor and counsel, the students.
