Job Description

We are looking for a dually qualified hygienist/ therapist to join our very busy and friendly mixed NHS/ Private practice. Willing to work under direct access, or train to work under direct access.

It's a six surgery practice, fully computerized equipped with the state of the art technology, using digital x-ray system and SOE software.

We are looking for a candidate, with immediate start.

- Excellent clinical work

- Who can work well within a dental team and with patients

- Who is approachable, compassionate, proactive, has good chair side manner and have a willingness to learn

- Takes responsibility and accountability with their clinical records and keeping up-to-date with the most current guidelines

What we are offering,

- Self employed basis

- Rate of pay will be discussed at the interview stage along with patient appointment times

- You will be working very closely and under the prescription of a dentist under the GDC legislation.

- You will be carrying out your full scope of practice - taking radiographs, delivering prevention advice, taking alginate impressions, carrying out periodontal, restorative and paediatric treatment

- Extended duties such a tooth whitening can also be carried out at this practice if you have carried out further training and hold a certificate for proof

- Full nursing support will be provided

Requirements,

- Diploma/Degree certificate

- GDC registered

- Indemnity Insurance

- Hep B

- Clinical references
