Dental Therapist
Job Description
Initially working in our Plymouth Dental Education Facilities in Derriford and Devonport, you will transfer to our new Dental Education Practice (DEP) in Plymouth City Centre when this opens in Autumn 2025. The DEP will provide an innovative model of care comprising urgent and stabilisation dental care, and general and specialist dentistry delivered alongside placements for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as trainees undertaking dental foundation training. Were looking for Dental Therapists to provide high quality NHS dental therapy and hygiene services within the DEP. Patients may be referred via student teaching clinics or from our team of qualified dentists.
You may also be involved in triage sessions to identify suitable patients for students to treat.
