Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Dental Therapist to join our practice. In this position, you will provide a range of preventative and restorative dental treatments, working closely with our dental team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine dental examinations and assessments. Provide preventive dental care such as scaling, polishing, fluoride treatment, and fissure sealants. Perform restorative procedures, including placing fillings. Assess periodontal health and carry out periodontal treatments when needed. Offer oral hygiene education and guidance to patients. Collaborate with dentists, dental hygienists, and support staff on treatment planning and case discussions. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, care plans, and communications. Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining treatments and post-treatment care.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma in Dental Therapy from a recognized institution. Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC). Previous experience working as a Dental Therapist is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
