The ideal candidate must be clinical so would suit a qualified dental nurse, reliable, motivated, a strong team player who always has a professional attitude towards their work and strives to provide excellent customer service and patient care.
The hours are
32 weekday hours per week
Monday 8-2
Tuesday 8-2
Wednesday 8-8 (1 hour lunch)
Friday 8-6 (1 hour lunch)
GDC registration and Indemnity paid for
Responsibilities
Initial telephone and face to face consultations with new patients.
Feedback, for example patients will often discuss their feelings on how their dental treatment/experience went (positive or not so positive) clinicians need to be made aware of this.
Keeping the front desk, patient lounge and Practice grounds tidy
Educate Patients: Present, explain treatment plans and procedures to patients, explaining each stage and what to expect from each visit. This will be done using practice literature, before and after photos, typodonts, models and radiographs. Answering any questions the patient may have.
Discuss costs of treatment and payment options available. (Before and after dental exams)
Schedule Appointments.
Keeping in contact and a check on patients throughout their treatment journey.
Check on patients post-treatment/courtesy calls
Prepare consent for treatments.
Prepare Orthodontic treatment plan/option letters
Prepare Dental implant options letters
Record Keeping: ensure patients notes are always written in detail
Invisalign weekly patient update emails. Load photos onto patient card in exact and inform Emily about these patients.
Complete insurance forms on behalf of patients
Private Referral letters treatments unable to be done in house
NHS referral letters for treatment unable to be done in house
Discussions with labs re outstanding lab work/issues with lab work
Work with dentists and therapists to ensure smooth operation of patient journey
Patient Communication: Manage phone calls, checking emails often, ensuring patient emails are answered in a timely manner.
Billing and Collections: Create invoices, process payments, and follow up on
overdue accounts.
Finance applications (V12)
Help patients understand their bills and payment options.
Compiling patient notes for requests from patients , dentists, law firms.
Participate in the collection of patient reviews
Understanding patient satisfaction and making improvements based on patient

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour
