We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong commitment to patient welfare.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist, Orthodontists, Therapists or hygienist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service delivery.
Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining inventory of dental supplies.
Qualifications
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience in a dental setting.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory; we welcome applications from newly qualified nurses as well.
