Role Description

We are looking for a

technically strong Deployment Manager

to own how our SaaS platform is released, deployed, and adopted by customers. This role is highly hands-on and sits at the intersection of

engineering, product, and commercial teams

. Your primary focus will be to

organise and structure our fortnightly Agile releases

, ensuring that new functionality is delivered, communicated, and adopted in a way that creates both customer and business value.


You will work closely with a skilled development team of around 17 developers, alongside Customer Success, Customer Care, and Sales, to ensure that releases are clearly packaged, well-documented, and supported with the right training and enablement. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and offers high visibility and ownership in a fast-scaling, international SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

Agile release ownership

- plan, structure, and coordinate fortnightly Agile releases with product and engineering

Technical deployment leadership

- lead deployments across customer environments with a strong understanding of platform architecture

Release communication & enablement

- ensure clear release notes, documentation, and training material in collaboration with Customer Success and Customer Care

Commercial alignment

- work closely with Sales to package and support the monetisation of new features and functionality

Client onboarding

- manage technical setup and configuration of new customer environments

Data migration

- oversee secure and accurate migration of property, tenant, and financial data

Environment management

- configure and manage staging, testing, and production environments

Integration coordination

- ensure stable integrations with third-party systems such as accounting, CRM, and payment providers

Risk & quality management

- identify deployment risks early and collaborate with QA to ensure release stability

Change management

- support customers through platform changes with clear processes, training, and guidance

Post-release monitoring

- track platform performance and address issues following releases

Documentation & feedback

- maintain technical and release documentation and feed learnings back into product and delivery processes

Who you are

You are a technically skilled delivery professional who enjoys working close to engineering and understands how modern SaaS platforms are built and released. You are comfortable in Agile environments, enjoy structuring complex work into clear release plans, and communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in scale-up settings where ownership, pace, and collaboration are essential. Experience working in an international or multi-market environment is a strong advantage.

Experience

Technical deployment experience

- proven experience deploying and releasing large, complex SaaS systems

Agile release management

- strong experience working in Agile teams with frequent release cycles

Platform understanding

- solid understanding of system architecture, environments, and integrations

Customer enablement

- experience producing documentation, release notes, and training materials

Problem-solving & coordination

- strong ability to manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholders

Communication skills

- able to bridge engineering, customer-facing, and commercial teams

International exposure

- experience working in an international environment is a strong plus

- Microsoft-based or .NET systems, Pendo
