This role is critical in ensuring efficient scheduling of maintenance and repairs, controlling associated costs, and minimising vehicle downtime through effective VOR management.

What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs for HGVs and trailers
Monitor and manage VOR status, ensuring timely updates and communication with relevant stakeholders
Track and control workshop costs, including labour, parts, and external services, ensuring budget adherence
Maintain accurate records of work orders, service history, and compliance documentation
Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and fleet managers to ensure smooth operational flow
Support workshop staff with administrative tasks including parts ordering, invoice processing, and reporting
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a transport or HGV workshop environment
Strong understanding of technical scheduling and fleet maintenance planning
Proven experience in cost control and budget tracking
Familiarity with VOR processes and minimising vehicle downtime
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and fleet management systems (e.g., Truckfile, R2C, or similar)
