Job Description

Transglobal Express is an international freight forwarder. Excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do - it's one of the major ways that we strive to differentiate ourselves from the other companies in our sector. With depots located in Wirral, East Midlands, Hayes, and Frankfurt, we are now looking for an experienced and driven Depot Manager to lead operations at our Hayes site.

Key Responsibilities

Depot & Site Management

- Oversee daily depot operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Staff Leadership

- Manage and develop a dedicated team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Health & Safety

- Maintain and enforce a safe working environment, ensuring all legal and company H&S standards are upheld.

Warehouse & Fulfilment

- lead your warehouse manager and the team take responsibility for inbound and outbound processes, order fulfilment and inventory accuracy.

Transport Operations

- Support the Transport Manager who manages 21 collection routes.

Customs & Compliance

- Support with customs processes and ensure regulatory compliance is embedded in operational practices.
About You:

Proven experience as a Depot Manager / senior manager within a

courier or freight forwarding environment

Excellent team management and leadership skills A practical and solutions-focused approach to day-to-day challenges Strong communication and organisational skills A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service

Pay: 55,000.00-80,000.00 per year
