We have an exciting opportunity for a

Depot Manager

to join us based at our new site in

Northampton

. The role is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week Monday-Friday.


This is a fantastic time to join us at our new premises where you will manage the day-to-day warehouse operations. You should be someone who has strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to promote the culture of Product Care Group and uphold our company values.

Our ideal Depot Manager will have the following skills and experience;




Proven experience in warehouse, depot, or logistics management. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. IOSH/NEBOSH certification (desirable).

Our

Northampton

site has capacity to store 5,000 pallets and 50,000 large appliances, providing us with the scale to turn our ambitious growth plans into reality. We have an excellent growing team here with access to the latest 2-person handling equipment.


As our

Depot Manager

you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will ensure productivity targets are met and maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory management, safety, and customer satisfaction.


Your key responsibilities as our Depot Manager will be to;




Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure all operational KPIs are met or exceeded. Oversee stock control and ensure inventory accuracy. Implement and maintain best practices in warehouse layout and process optimization. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives, supervisors, and support staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions. Manage staffing levels and shift patterns to meet operational demands. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor performance and track goods. Liaise with supply chain, transport, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations. Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently. Promote the culture of Product Care Group and uphold our company values. Travel to UK Hub(s) for management meetings & engagement activities.
