Our nursery is seeking a dynamic leader for our babyroom who will be able to successfully manage the day to day running of the room and deliver high standards of care and education to all children. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience as a babyroom leader, an interest in developing the talent of younger generations and a desire to make a difference in children's lives.

You will be able to provide professional leadership and management of the babyroom and its team.

- Support the manager and deputy manager with the running of the nursery.

You will be comfortable being responsible for keeping clear and accurate records and specifically writing clear objective observations

You have excellent planning, organisation, IT and presentation skills

You are a strong communicator and are able to motivate, manage and work productively with your team

You are able to identify training needs and develop training plans for your team

You will be comfortable recruiting, inducting, supporting, training and conducting appraisals for your team

You are able to work with parents, outside agencies, manage running costs, facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and safe environment. Supervise staff. Assign staff tasks. Handle food preparation. Answer questions about the nurseries policies. Ensure that break times are enjoyed by children and staff. Accompany children in outings. Follow regulations and policies about food handling, health, and safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 27,000.00 per year

10 hour shift Monday to Friday

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

Nursery: 1 year (preferred) Childcare: 1 year (preferred) Management: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Childcare qualification (preferred)
