Hours: 36 (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:00 / Fri 08:00-15:45)
Other: Head Office Bonus / Uniform Allowance
The role will take ownership of the bonus payment mechanisms and reporting across:

  • Warehousing - Team Members (Site Specific Schemes)
  • Warehousing - Grade 3 Managers
  • Total Platform Operations
  • Regional Service Centres
  • Product Quality & Compliance
  • Next Furniture Manufacturing
  • LGV & Van Drivers
Alongside the management of a team of Bonus Coordinators in their day to day function, the role will deliver information reports that are timely and accurate, following robust quality assurance checks. The individual will also handle the competing expectations of key stakeholders throughout the wider business.
Main Duties (about the role):
  • Responsible for processing, analysing and reporting on the current state of productivity and performance across individual areas of the business
  • Line Management responsibility for (up to 5) team members
  • Ensure accuracy of bonus and productivity related data output
  • Present clear reports that have been quality assured and adhere to all business critical timelines
  • Produce timely and robust MI reports that add value across all relevant sites
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests in a timely manner using multiple data sources
  • Create and maintain all reports (inc. SMV updates from colleagues in PSD); modify said reports as business needs change
  • Troubleshoot and investigate reporting anomalies
  • Ability to simplify complex data and discuss with senior stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal Stakeholders and Management Teams across the business
  • Deliver prompt query resolution to enable accurate payment of bonus (including any back pay / owed occurrences)
  • Maintenance of multiple reports / files within warehousing and distribution
  • Roll weekly bonus data files and month end payroll
  • Ensure all relevant finance, KPI, MI and Google files are updated accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in any projects throughout the business or any other duties as and when required
Candidate Requirements (About you):
Essential:
  • The ability to present data in an informative and user-friendly way
  • Possess very good oral and written communication skills
  • Confident individual who is able to take the initiative when working independently
  • Able to motivate a team of Bonus Coordinators to meet strict weekly deadlines, with a relentless focus on quality and accuracy of output
  • An ability to manage competing stakeholder expectations
  • Demonstrate a suitable working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Desirable:
  • Experience of leading and motivating a high performing team with proven, time sensitive results
  • A background in BI, MI or developing reports
  • Experience in warehousing / distribution
  • A working knowledge of operatives' bonus and productivity related incentive schemes either in Next Distribution or a similar environment
