Deputy Manager - Residential Care Home, Swansea



An exciting opportunity to join a small team of dedicated care professionals running a wonderful resident care home in Swansea.

Join an expanding group (currently 4 homes) catering for up to 30 residents in a modern but homely environment. We keep our homes this size because it allows our team to truly get to know and spend quality time with each resident, ensuring they feel cared for, comfortable, and relaxed.

This role is for an exceptional individual who has experience in a Care Home or similar environment and who believes passionately in providing excellent care to the elderly. As Deputy Manager, you will not only bring a proven track record in management, but also the skills, motivation, and commitment to help lead our team and uphold the highest standards of care.

Strong leadership, with the ability to inspire and support staff at all levels.

Empathy and compassion, with a resident-focused approach to care.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Confidence in handling compliance, regulatory paperwork, and audits.

Business awareness and commercial understanding of running a care home.

Strong IT skills, ideally with experience using care planning software.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with staff, residents, families, and regulators.

A flexible and proactive approach to working hours, ensuring the needs of residents and the business are met.

Competitive salary up to 17.30 per hourfor 36 hours.
