About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and proactive

Deputy Care Manager

to support the day-to-day operations of our welcoming and person-centred

residential care home in Kilmarnock

. This is a non-nursing role ideal for someone with strong leadership experience and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Home Manager in the overall management of the home Lead, mentor and support care staff on shift Ensure care plans are person-centred, regularly reviewed, and correctly implemented Assist with staff supervisions, appraisals, and training Maintain high standards of care in line with regulatory guidelines Foster a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for residents and staff Liaise with families, health professionals, and external agencies when required

Requirements

Must hold a

minimum of NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care

Experience working in a senior care role within a residential or similar care setting Strong leadership and communication skills A passion for quality care and continuous improvement Understanding of relevant care regulations and person-centred care principles Right to work in the UK
