Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Footsteps to Futures Ltd in GB. This pivotal role involves supporting the management team in delivering high-quality care and therapeutic services within our residential setting, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people while promoting their personal growth.
Responsibilities
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the residential facility.
Support the delivery of therapeutic care plans tailored to individual needs.
Supervise staff members ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for young people.
Contribute to staff training and development initiatives.
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting related to young people's progress.
Support risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
Act as a role model demonstrating leadership and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Proven management or supervisory experience within social care or residential settings.
Strong understanding of assisted living principles and therapeutic approaches.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to support staff development and team cohesion.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Compassionate attitude with a commitment to improving young people's lives.
Relevant qualifications in social care or related fields are preferred.
