We're looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care within our Ofsted-regulated residential home. About the Role
:
As Deputy Manager, you will:
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
Lead and supervise a team of senior and residential support workers, promoting excellent care that is responsive to the needs of our children
Ensure the delivery of care meets the emotional and behaviourial needs of each individual child and young person in your care.
Assist with staff development, shift planning, and supervisions.
Promote safeguarding, reflective practice, and emotional resilience.
What We're Looking For:
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting, ideally with some leadership responsibility.
A solid understanding of Children's Homes Regulations, safeguarding, and therapeutic approaches.
A resilient, empathetic, and reliable professional committed to making a positive difference.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support others.
