We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Deputy Course Manager to join our organisation. Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Director of Greenstaff in coordinating and supervising day-to-day jobs. Deliver engaging training sessions with the greenkeeping demonstrating correct procedure to set up cylinder mowers and pre start checks Support the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations. Organise and facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops, demonstrating strong presentation skills. Contribute to the planning and execution of organisational projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a positive working environment. Assist in monitoring staff performance and help develop their attributes. Work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis Weekends and bank holidays are paid at a flat rate of 50 per shift( one shift equals one day)

Qualifications

Proven experience as a first assistant looking for next step up in golf course management. Level 3 NVQ in sports turf. Irrigation Experience Chainsaw license Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Relevant qualifications in management, education, or related fields are advantageous.
