Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Director of Education, in the Directorate of Education and Innovation.

This full-time post provides an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the delivery of Royal Holloway\'s education and student experience. The Education and Innovation Directorate draws together a broad range of areas which are core to the student education lifecycle and covers the areas of:

  • Academic Quality and Policies
  • Education development and training of academic staff
  • Curriculum enhancement and innovation
  • Support of student access into Higher Education and their academic success whilst studying at Royal Holloway
  • Student Employment, including placements and volunteering.
Reporting to the Director of Education, they will support the Director of Education in the implementation of the University\'s education strategy. They will be required to lead on the design and delivery of a cohesive and aligned student journey focused on educational success and an excellent student experience for all.

The Deputy Director will also lead and manage a team focused on enabling students to successfully study at Royal Holloway and ensuring effective delivery of the University\'s Widening Access agenda. Their work will be informed by the University\'s Access and Participation (APP) strategy and ensure their team activities align with the University educational, EDI and TEF strategies.
