The website, which is part ofThe TimesandThe Sunday Times, is now looking for a deputy editor to help bring our stories to life by combining excellent editing and writing skills with a passion for helping readers understand money matters.

You will have a great eye for detail and know how to write accurately and engagingly about complex money products such as credit cards, bank accounts, pensions and investments. You will have a strong understanding of the competitive e-commerce space in order to grow our revenues as well as our audience.

As part of the role you will be writing and editing new and existing content as well as play a key role in setting out the wider strategy for the website. You will also work towards becoming an expert on various personal finance topics (if you\'re not already) and be one of our media spokespeople.

You\'re a team player but also someone who\'s just happy to get on with things.You\'ll be working closely with the rest of the team to present a variety of money-focused content types in the best possible way.

Times Money Mentoris on a mission to demystify money, so a passion for telling stories that make it interesting and relevant to different audiences is a must. Experience in personal finance and editing is a must. Please indicate on your application any relevant experience you have.

Day to day you will:

  • Writing, editing and commissioning content (new as well as existing), making sure it\'s 100% accurate
Become an expert on various personal finance topics including pensions, investments and banking as well as lifestyle hacks for money-saving and money-growing.

Understand what content performs well by maintaining constant awareness of site strategy and performance including traffic, engagement and revenue, using this knowledge to steer future strategy and content tests.

Work with our commercial team on pitches for partnerships and campaigns around high-performing content.

Edit personal finance articles, including explainers and best-buy lists, alongside our independent data providers, to build our SEO-driven articles library and evergreen content.

Be one of TMM\'s spokespeople and be part of our radio and TV strategy

Use data and SEO to get editorial and commercial insights

Work closely with our compliance partner to ensure FCA guidelines are closely followed in all our content.

UpholdTimes Money Mentor\'sstandards of journalistic rigour, accuracy, and fairness,ensuring TMM\'s tone of voice is consistent across the site.
