Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the management of daily operations within our establishment, ensuring that all aspects of service and production meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong background in hospitality, food preparation, and leadership to effectively supervise staff and maintain an exceptional guest experience.

Duties



Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments. Supervise kitchen staff and bartenders, providing guidance and support in food production and service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests. Help in the preparation of food items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Train new employees on operational procedures, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies for kitchen and bar operations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service delivery.

Skills



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or restaurants. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Proficient in bartending practices as well as kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards are consistently met. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests alike. A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 48 per week
