Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for customer service, and the ability to lead and support a team across hotel, restaurant and bar operations.

As Deputy General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business, maintaining high standards, and delivering excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the General Manager, supervising, supporting and motivating the team, leading by example.

Oversee daily operations across the hotel, bar and restaurant.

Ensure excellent customer service at all times.

Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.

Assist in staff training and development .

Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are adhered to.

Manage cash handling, banking, and end of day reconciliation.

Support stock control, ordering and deliveries.

Conduct regular checks to maintain standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation.

Report to and liaise with senior management regarding performance and improvement.

Assist in the planning and delivery of events and promotions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar management role within a hotel, pub and restaurant setting.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

A hands on approach with a strong customer focus

Ability to remain calm under pressure and problem solve.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.

Personal licence desirable but not essential.
