Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen and restaurant, ensuring that food safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service. This position requires strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and a passion for team management.

Duties



Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations within the kitchen and front-of-house areas. Supervise and support kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in both kitchen and dining areas. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members on operational procedures and service standards. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, specials, and promotional events. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and culinary practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and service delivery. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and guest interactions. A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding service.
