We are looking for a motivated & experienced Deputy Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, wet focused pub. As the successful Deputy Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us. This is not an office role , talking to and being seen by guests is key. You must want to be part of the community and be able to hold a decent conversation. The pub is a cornerstone of the Kennington community - We are driven by live sports, lots of group bookings and perfect standards. The pub is due to undergo a large scale investment this year, improving the garden, kitchen and overall guest experiance.

Responsibilities working alongside the owners and your supervisors you will;

- Manage all aspects of the pubs operations, including staff supervision, stock control and rotas
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and develop bar staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pub

-You will understand the importance of our voice on social media and will play a roll in delivering our social content

-You will be keyed in to industry trends, understand the importance of maintaining our brand and be absolutely obsessed with standards

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Understanding of health and safety regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-34,000.00 per year
