Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Deputy Head teacher to lead our Study Programmes, Apprenticeships and related provision at Salt Training Limited. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with learners with EHCP's and understands the consultation process from the local authority. Furthermore, be an experienced SENCO or learning support lead. We are looking for someone who can help STL grow with strong communication and written skills to assist in bid writing and securing new streams of funding. Working directly with the Managing Director the successful Candidate will line manage all staff involved in the educational delivery for the delegated portfolio of responsibility E.G Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, Supported Internships etc.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to help the Managing Director Grow STL and assist in growing a strong team of educators who are recognised outstanding practitioners. The Deputy Headteacher will be the Safeguarding lead, Quality Nominee and Designated SENCO for STL.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Teaching

- Teaching Staff observations & Implementing Quality cycles

- Working with external Stakeholder such as the local Authority

-Experience and understanding of the EHCP consultation process

- Careers qualifications and experience

- Safeguarding qualifications and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00 per year
