We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Epsom and Ewell High School, part of Bourne Education Trust.




The Deputy Headteacher's role is to provide strategic, inspirational, and forward-thinking leadership that drives excellence in teaching and learning. The Deputy Headteacher will lead the successful implementation of 1:1 digital learning across the school and spearhead the continuous development of the Sixth Form. Through a commitment to innovation, inclusion, and high standards, they will help create a dynamic educational environment where all students are empowered to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Work with the Bourne Education Trust, the Local Governing Committee and the school community to build upon the culture of continuous improvement that is currently embedded and epitomises the school's core values Harness the school's data and benchmarking systems to further monitor and target progress, drive standards higher, and maintain the focus across the school on pupils' achievement and attendance, with a clear focus on their individual needs Provide effective leadership and management Uphold the school's established role within the community, sustaining the existing pride in the organisation

Requirements include:




Essential




Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent Successful experience as a leader

Desirable




NPQSL or further professional qualification Experience leading a school through a recent Ofsted inspection
