Job Description

Manage ultrasound service waiting lists, capacity, and demand using a variety of monitoring tools and data analysis. Ensure service quality is upheld at all levelsfrom patient satisfaction and experience to clinical outcomes and user feedback. Maintain consistently high standards in the delivery of all ultrasound procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and professional guidelines. Lead the development and implementation of new ultrasound techniques and services in line with clinical innovation and patient need.



Oversee quality control measures for all ultrasound equipment, ensuring operational safety and compliance with maintenance schedules. Maintain responsibility for ultrasound stock management, equipment replacement planning, and inventory control. Conduct clinical and non-clinical audits to ensure service quality aligns with the organizational quality improvement agenda. Undertake and document risk assessments, especially in relation to Retained Foreign Objects (RSI) and other potential service risks.
