About The Role

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for supporting the service manager to set the culture of the service. Leading and inspiring the teams to ensure that everyone within it lives and breathes our company ethos.

About you

Do you have previous experience working in care, managing a team and want to use these skills to develop further and take the lead?


This is an opportunity for a pro-active Deputy Manager to join an evolving Care Company and manage our Supported Living services in Dinnington. You will need:



+ Previous care management experience, preferably within a residential service.
+ Hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 5 Diploma or have a suitable alternative qualification.
+ Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
+ Evidence that you can provide inspiring, motivational, clear, and supportive leadership.

About The Service

The Dispensary - Swanton Care is a stunning care home situated in a quaint picturesque village close to Durham city. We are a new service, recently opening in May 2023 where we offer superbly adapted apartment style living to 5 people who require specialist care and support who live with complex needs including Autism, Learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
