Deputy Nursery Manager
to help bring it to life!
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to help shape a nursery from the very beginning. You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager and senior leadership team to create a warm, inspiring, and high-quality environment for children, families, and staff.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery
Acting as Designated Officer in Charge in the Manager's absence
Leading and mentoring staff across base rooms to deliver outstanding care and education
Supporting recruitment, inductions, and ongoing staff development
Promoting a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are consistently met
Building strong, positive relationships with families and external agencies
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a confident, caring, and proactive leader who is passionate about early years education and ready to take on a new challenge. You'll bring:
A full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher)
At least 2 years' post-qualifying experience in early years
Proven leadership or supervisory experience
Strong communication, organisational, and safeguarding skills
A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
