: 14.60 per hour, plus benefits

Monday to Friday | 40 hours/week | Shifts between 7:30am-6:00pm

About the Role




Are you an experienced early years professional with a passion for leadership and team development? Shooting Stars Nurseries is excited to be opening a brand-new, fully refurbished nursery in Tettenhall -- and we're looking for dedicated

Room Leaders

to help shape it from the very beginning!


This is a unique opportunity to be part of something special -- play a key role in building a strong, collaborative team culture, leading a base room team to create a nurturing, high-quality environment for children, families, and staff from the ground up.




Key Responsibilities




Lead and manage a base room team to deliver high-quality care and education Collaborate with the Nursery Manager and wider team to continuously improve practice Plan and implement engaging activities using the EYFS framework Support staff development through mentoring and reflective practice Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and food safety standards are met Build strong relationships with children, families, and external professionals Support & contribute to recruitment, inductions, and team development Promote a positive and inclusive nursery culture


What We're Looking For




We're seeking a confident, caring, and proactive leader who is ready to take on a new challenge. Ideally, you'll bring:


A full and relevant Early Years Level 3 qualification (or higher) Post-qualifying experience in a private day nursery setting Strong leadership and team motivation skills A passion for creating and developing a new team culture Excellent organisational, communication, and safeguarding skills A flexible, professional, and positive attitude

Desirable:




Previous team leader/supervisory experience Experience of Ofsted inspections Experience working with children with SEN
