What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the Registered Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the home
Leading by example and guiding a close-knit staff team with regular supervisions
Promoting emotional stability, structured routines, and positive outcomes for young people
Building trusted relationships with professionals, families, and external partners
Supporting recruitment, training, and staff development
Contributing to therapeutic strategies in line with each young person's individual care plan
Working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm - no sleeps required (but flexibility is key)
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience
in a children's or residential care setting
At least
2 years of direct work with children
, ideally within a children's home
A relevant
Level 4 qualification
- accepted areas include Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care, Education, or Young People's Workforce
Strong emotional resilience - calm under pressure without being robotic
A
