Job Description

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team, you must have the passion and commitment for working with children and young people and making a positive difference to their lives. You will be experienced in this field, we will provide you with an excellent training programme and also we will offer you development so that you can progress with your career.

You will be responsible for working with the Manager ensuring that our children and young people receive the highest standards of support and care which are appropriate to their personal needs, being committed to our children and young people by helping them to achieve their goals, also building and developing positive relationships with our children and young people, to encourage them to participate in the opportunities offered within the home, along with supporting them to complete everyday tasks. In addition you will also be building up positive working relationships with external stakeholders.

You will also be working with other staff members and will be involved with planning rotas along with the Manager. You will ensure that all record keeping and all administration requirements of the team are achieved, this may include care plans, risk assessments, conducting key work sessions and holding supervisions with staff. You will be responsible for the effective Safeguarding of the children and young people within your care and fully understand how to raise any concerns.

We are looking for:



Have an understanding of the relevant legislation relating to the care of young people, experienced of working within a residential setting, experience of working with young people that have emotional and behavioural disorders and or learning disabilities. A diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent at level 3 or 4. Applicants must be over the age of 21. Have a full UK driving licence. Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship at this moment in time)
