We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team in a children's home environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

The Deputy Manager will work closely with the management team to implement care plans and supervise staff while fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and employees.
Level 3 Diploma - Health and Social Care is Required
Duties
Supervise and support staff in delivering exceptional care to children with complex and challenging behaviours
Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Conduct regular assessments of resident wellbeing and adjust care strategies as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
Foster an environment of teamwork, encouraging professional development among staff members through training and mentorship.
Manage daily operations efficiently, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
Ensure that the children's home meets all regulatory requirements and standards for quality assurance.
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a children's home is essential.
A background in senior care with knowledge of medication administration practices is highly desirable.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing care plans and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members.
A caring attitude towards children, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their needs.
