Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the home provides a stable, nurturing, and family-style environment where children can feel safe, respected, and empowered to thrive.

What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the Registered Manager with day-to-day leadership and management of the home.
Leading and mentoring a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Building strong, consistent relationships with children, helping them develop resilience, life skills, and positive futures.
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding policies, and risk management frameworks.
Supporting with staff recruitment, training, supervision, and reflective practice.
Working in partnership with external agencies, schools, and families to meet children's holistic needs.
About You
Experienced in residential childcare, ideally in a senior or team leader role.
Confident in leading staff, managing shifts, and handling complex situations.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and behaviour management.
Resilient, empathetic, and committed to the values of therapeutic care.
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential); Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards).
